This sweetest antique Georgian clasp is a stunning example of fine craftsmanship from the early 19th century. The clasp is exquisitely detailed, featuring a white outer border and dark blue corners adorned with gold floral work. The centre is textured gold with the French inscription “ils fleurissent” (they bloom). The reverse side is curved and stamped with the maker’s mark. Despite a tiny imperfection on the white border, the clasp is in fantastic condition for its age.
